Calgary, AB – Chronograph Records is pleased to welcome Regina-based indie folk artist Joel Henderson, known by his stage name Poor Nameless Boy, to their roster. Following the acclaimed release of his introspective album “The Activity Book” in 2013, Joel returns to the studio in Spring 2015 to record brand new music for a Fall release.

Chronograph Records is a boutique record label that works closely with artists who are looking for an insightful and collaborative partnership. Representing some of the best jazz, urban acoustic, and blues artists in Western Canada, Chronograph Records strategically helps develop their roster, allowing the artists to evolve into exactly who they're supposed to be. Since the label's 2004 inception, Chronograph artists have garnered numerous award nominations, most recently culminating in a TD Grand Jazz Award, a CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award, Canadian Country Music Awards and many more.

“From the first time I saw the video for his song “Rush Me An Ambulance,” I was hooked on his voice, his melodies, his writing. I couldn’t be more excited to work with such an exceptional talent, and look forward to sharing his music with the world!” explains Chronograph VP Stephanie Hutchinson.

I'm quite excited about Chronograph records. Having met with Stephanie in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Kansas City, I am more than confident that this is the right fit. She is passionate about what she does and passionate about my creativity. This has been in the workings for quite some time and I'm glad we can finally make it official. Lets get the ball rolling on the next album!
