Forgotten The Moon

6am, is a tricky time.

My eyes keep leaving you.

I wonder if I'll get distracted; tomorrow I'll sleep it through.

When the day breaks, know you're not away.

Oh sun oh sun. I've forgotten the moon

Oh sun oh sun I've forgotten the moon

You burn for me as I burn for you, but I need a late night soon.

I've forgotten the moon.

You solved all of my problems.

I remember how you did.

It was empty streets in the evening air.

My flip flopped feet pacing everywhere.

You're so reliable

You're so reliable and I won't forget it.

Afternoon

She took advantage of the afternoon

writing poetry only she understood

and wouldn't show it to no one, no no no.

Cause she could've opened up.

Oh she could've opened up

But...

She took advantage of the afternoon

singing loud, so loud, her favorite tune

but wouldn't sing it for no one, no no no.

She kept saying this is a part of me I guard

and no one, oh yeah no one sees this side of my heart.

Good Time To Go Outside

She had a bad day

and her weeks been dragging on

she tries to dance a little

but her heart's already gone

A better time, this is a good time to get away

A better night, this is a good time to go outside

This is a good time to go outside

Where the sky shines so new and beautiful

Where the song she's singing blows away like a balloon

To be in bare feet and not know where she's running to

a better night, this is a good time to go outside.

She's been so restless

and barely hanging on

They expect so much

what if they were wrong.

Rush Me An Ambulance

Rush me an ambulance cause I'm in need of some attention

And ask me how it's been

I'm tired of feeling broken

Oh Oh I am calling for hope

Oh Oh So rush rush rush me an ambulance.

Rush me an ambulance cause I'm in need of some attention

It's been 18 hours since then

I don't see a rescue and I don't feel different.

I was at home in the darkness

I was asleep in the silence.

I opened my window to see red and blue flashing lights surrounding me.

I am awake with the sirens.
